Manitoba's Accessibility Action Plan
Manitoba’s Accessibility Action Plan was developed in response to the recommendations outlined in the Five-Year Review of The Accessibility for Manitobans Act: 2023. Launched in 2024, this action plan aims to transform Manitoba into a barrier-free province where every resident can fully engage in all aspects of society.
Manitoba’s Accessibility Action Plan is a collaborative effort involving input from the Manitoba government, the public sector, businesses, non-profits, municipalities and, most importantly, individuals with lived experience. By prioritizing these initiatives, we are building a stronger, more inclusive Manitoba for generations to come.
Manitoba’s Accessibility Action Plan is made up of four pillars. Click on each of the pillars below to learn more about each recommendation and the actions taken to improve accessibility throughout the province.
