The Accessibility Advisory Council must review the effectiveness of accessibility standards every five years and submit their recommendations to the Minister.

Minister’s Annual Plan: The Accessibility for Manitobans Act

Since 2015, the Minister responsible for the AMA sets out a Plan with priorities for AMA implementation.

Ministerial Annual Report: The Accessibility for Manitobans Act

Each year the Minister responsible for the AMA releases an Annual Report on AMA implementation.

Accessibility Advisory Council

The Accessibility Advisory Council meets at least 4 times per year and makes the summaries of its meetings public.

The council can establish committees to work on the development of standards for the council’s approval. Read more about how standards are created.
